As the sun sets over the city, a hidden Toronto gem takes the stage. OBJX Studio is known by artists for its limitless film & photography opportunities, but it is also a haven for all artists alike; transforming into a vibrant hub of artistic expression every Sunday evening.

Hosted tonight with Bodeen @queenbodeen and Bitter & Broke @bitterxbroke; Sunday Sessions is a home to performers who can expand their artistry through performance and jamming.

Sign-up begins at 7pm and we keep grooving until midnight.

This August 6th as the clock strikes the appointed hour, a mere $10 cover opens the gateway to an evening of musical enchantment and soulful performances.

All performances are captured by our audio/visual team providing a high quality performance video that artists can take home with them for only $50!

Seeing as how, studio, lights, cameras, and a band are all included that is quite a steal!

DIGITAL FLY @prithish92

Digital Fly, aka Prithish Basack, electrified the Sunday Sessions open mic, embodying a 21st-century voyeurism as a fly on our screens. Pre-show, he unveiled a ritual blending bedroom project prowess with Radiohead-inspired production. A gig glitch turned into artistry, as an errant guitar jack birthed an acoustic solo on-the-fly. Sewa, a four-year professional player, took center stage at Sunday Sessions, channeling her music into a powerful outlet. With her purpose rooted in mental health advocacy and a desire for musical respect (a Grammy dream) as a black Nigerian woman, Sewa harnesses her craft to transcend challenges. A survivor, she shares how music saved her life, reshaping her destiny from the brink. Pre-show rituals aren't her forte – she embraces spontaneity, her voice finely tuned from hours of singing and deep practice. Evenings of song balance her work, life and art. Amid the laughter and the off-key moments, Sewa's humor shines through, turning the missteps into crowd-pleasing gems. Originating during a period of intense depression and 16-hour slumbers, Hibernation emerged as a beacon of hope and artistic rebirth. Pepper, the Austrian producer extraordinaire, brought their versatile talents to the Sunday Sessions stage, infusing the evening with a vibrant fusion of creativity.
